About My Clients
I primarily work with creatives and entertainers who sacrifice their mental, emotional, and psychological wellbeing to make art. When so much of your work depends on deeply experiencing emotions, you may find yourself depressed, struggling to find inspiration; like a painter working with frayed brushes. My practice focuses on reconnecting you to the emotions in your body so you can release them and achieve your fullest creative potential.
My Background and Approach
Through Accelerated Experiential Dynamic Psychotherapy (AEDP) and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), I work with clients to locate felt emotions in the body, communicate with different parts of the self, and revisit significant experiences from the past. I believe the therapeutic process is a collaborative effort, in which clients are the expert on their own lived experience. I let you describe the context of your experiences without judging, and work in tandem with you to provide opportunities for growth and transformance. My Personal Beliefs and Interests
A strong client-clinician relationship allows transformation to take place. That's why my primary goal is to fully see and know you. As a clinician, my personhood is my greatest tool, so I show up to every session as my full self. I encourage you to do the same because every part of your Self is valid, and worthy of being heard.
