About My Clients
Is your child struggling to regulate their emotions. When children are struggling with emotional difficulties it can be hard to watch and even more difficult to know how to help. Whether it is anxiety, depression, or unresolved trauma I hope to partner with you to help support you and your child's needs. I am passionate about working with children and helping them learn to identify and address their emotions.
My Background and Approach
Jasmine is a graduate of the Brown School of Social Work at Washington University in St Louis. She is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and Registered Play Therapist that is a compassionate and fun clinician for children of all ages. Jasmine’s experience includes working in St Louis schools from early childhood through high school, as well as special education. These experiences make her a passionate advocate for you child’s needs. By using play and activities in therapy children are able to communicate and process feelings in a way that works for them. She believes play can be healing and helpful for not only children ,but across ages and communities. She hopes to bring some playfulness to your life.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
At Bud to Bloom Play Therapy we are passionate about using the healing power of play to help children, families and schools in St. Louis experience healing and social emotional growth. I believe every child can bloom when giving a safe and supportive environment. I believe supportive and safe environments should be actively anti- racist and I try my best to be culturally humble with all clients who come through my doors. I also no not believe in discrimination of any sort and welcome people of any identify and ability in my space.
