I love to help people understand their brain's role in trauma and how help them move on from the trauma they experienced.

I provide a safe and educated environment where clients won't need to educate me on the intricacies of queer life. I'm deeply immersed in the community and spend a great deal of time learning from queer activists and thinkers.

I strive to help survivors through the trauma sustained through abuse and help them find the power that exists inside them. Abuse can eat away at our sense of identity and self-love. I want to provide a safe environment where people can reintroduce themselves to themselves outside of the trauma of abuse.

I see our lives as a story where certain important events set us on a trajectory for the future. Through understanding and acceptance, we can change our own trajectory and make meaning out of the stories we've lived thus far.

Our bodies are telling us a story of what we need and we so rarely listen in to what it's trying to tell us. I believe that emotions live in our body and if we don't let them out they can eat away at us. My goal in counseling is to help people find these stored emotions and let them out in a safe, adaptive way.

Above all, I want to make sure that I'm adapting my counseling approach to the client I'm seeing. I don't think there's one practice that will help every person, so I strive to meet my clients where they are.
