About My Clients
We often find ourselves feeling "stuck" or "trapped" in cycles that feel all too familiar, but that no longer serve us. My goal in therapy is to support you in creating a deeper understanding and awareness of these cycles, let go of old patterns, and to create anew. Self-esteem issues, relationships, and addiction are often avenues for which our traumas continue to affect our current reality.
My Background and Approach
I've had extensive experience working with individuals from diverse backgrounds struggling with issues related to addiction, depression, anxiety, low self-esteem, eating disorders, trauma, mood disorders, LGBT+, and attachment-related issues. My aim is to create a nurturing, non-judgmental space where clients can feel at home in the healing process. I use a sense of humor, empathy, and compassion to build rapport with clients, and also to support clients in feeling empowered on their transformative journey. I hold an MA Clinical Psychology from The New School for Social Research, and an MSW from NYU.
