Since the start of her career, she has worked heavily with the BIPOC and LGBTQIA+ community and conducted research on minority self-esteem, gender differences in internalized behaviors, and colligate substance use. She has volunteered with individuals across the lifespan instilling encouragement and hope for them to continue on this journey called life.

Experiencing excessive thoughts can completely consume you and interfere with your daily living. Maybe you're experiencing thoughts that something bad will happen, worried about the future, or jumping from task to task that it's hard to be present in your relationships. Therapy can help you learn what invites anxiety in, and help you feel grounded & connected to your true self.

Painful experiences can follow you wherever you go whether you experienced painful events or trauma in childhood or adulthood. Unprocessed trauma can cause emotional, mental, and physical challenges often leaving you feeling helpless. Therapy can help unlock or process memories stored in your mind and body, releasing them from being trapped in your system, and providing new tools for handling painful, difficult, and stressful situations.

There is no one path to healing and healing looks different for everyone. We work in collaboration with our clients and offer different modalities. Our work may include cognitive behavioral therapy, trauma informed yoga, mindfulness, inner child work, limiting thinking & behavior patterns, somatic work, art therapy, trusting your inner guide & self-compassion.
