About My Clients
I recognize how challenging it can be to know how to best support you or your child's needs. School, work, relationships, and other life stressors can be overwhelming, sometimes to the point of feeling lost or stuck in our tracks. At times, even our physical, bodily experiences of sadness, anxiety, etc., may feel disconnected from our logical, rational thoughts. During these times, it is helpful to have someone who will work collaboratively and therapeutically with you to help you!
My Background and Approach
By providing individual therapy and Neurofeedback training, I am able to help my clients become more mindful and in control of their own internal experiences and symptoms. Through the therapeutic relationship, I empower my clients to help re-instate their sense of confidence and self-esteem, while also utilizing various therapeutic techniques to help encourage change and growth. I provide evidence-based and culturally-sensitive therapeutic services for adults experiencing a variety of clinical symptoms and experiences. These conditions and challenges include, but are not limited to: anxiety, depression, coping deficits, low self-esteem, grief, life transitions, relationship issues, and stress management.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I welcome all clients of varying racial, ethnic, faith, gender, and sexual orientation backgrounds, and work hard to connect and "meet" my clients where they are at in regard to development and desire for change. I am also an avid music lover and a "foodie" to my core. I have loved learning and integrating Neurofeedback into my private practice, as well as watching the difference it can make for so many people (including myself).
