In my view, relationships and marital issues are the foundation of a healthy human experience. Nothing can be more rewarding in life than a healthy relationship with a loved one, and nothing can be more detrimental to our well-being than an unhealthy relationship with a loved one.

Using a structured approach to DBT requires us to accept the grey areas in life. We can hold two completely opposing views at the same time for example, and not suffer because of this viewpoint.
