About My Clients

I specialize in working with adults, young adults, teens and children, who are experiencing anxiety/stress, depression, relationship challenges, life transitions, loss/grief and low self-esteem. My favorite author once wrote, “It is the peculiar nature of the world to go on spinning no matter what sort of heartbreak is happening,” which means that there are times in everyone’s life when living becomes too heavy, complicated, painful, and/or difficult to manage. I am here to support all of it.

My Background and Approach

Passionate about fusing traditional psychotherapy with an integrative and holistic approach, I offer an opportunity to connect mind, body, and soul. Generally, I work to help my clients broaden their awareness, challenge problematic behavioral, emotional, and thinking patterns, learn healthy coping skills, live mindfully and authentically, and seek their unique version of joy. While pain is inevitable and often uncontrollable, suffering is a choice based on how we process, cope, and react to life’s challenges. With extensive experience and training in psychotherapy, positive psychology, mindfulness, meditation, and Buddhist Psychology, I aim to uniquely tailor therapy sessions to each client’s needs by utilizing a variety of techniques, incorporating both Western and Eastern healing modalities. My goal is to provide my clients with deep, meaningful and results oriented therapeutic experiences that enhance their lives.

My Personal Beliefs and Interests

Above all, I believe that the strongest therapeutic relationships are built on trust, respect, transparency, empathy, and equality, and I always counsel from a nonjudgmental place of understanding and compassion. From my own experiences in therapy, I truly understand how scary and vulnerable the therapeutic process can be, and so I feel it is my role to meet and honor every individual wherever they currently are on their journey and to walk alongside them, as equals, as they forge their own path. Each of us has the power to choose differently and to create positive change. With the right guidance and support, I know that you, too, can learn to free your mind, and, in doing so, free your life. I look forward to scheduling a free 15 minute consultation to learn more about one another! I'm ready when you are...
