About My Clients
Are you are feeling stuck? Do you want to have more fulfilling relationships? Are you are hoping to learn tools & coping skills in order to feel better? Are you are ready to learn more about yourself? The goal of CBT, and my work with my clients, is to challenge oneself to identify negative core beliefs, or negative thought patterns, & begin to learn tools & coping skills in order to look at them in a new, more positive light. I look forward to teaching you the tools to take back your life.
My Background and Approach
When we get "stuck" in life, we can begin to feel lost & confused. My job is to help you figure out what is making you feel "stuck," & collaboratively help you to make the necessary adjustments in your life to get "unstuck." Together, we will walk the path toward your new future. My approach is client-centered & collaborative. I utilize various treatment modalities in my practice, such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy & Dialectical Behavior Therapy. Cambridge Dictionary defines “reframe” as, a way “to change the way something is expressed or considered.” Simply speaking, a reframe is a different way to look at a situation. The goal of CBT, & my work with my clients, is to challenge oneself to identify negative core beliefs, or negative thought patterns, & begin to learn tools & coping skills in order to look at them in a new, more positive light. My practice name, Reframe Counseling, describes the process of reworking one’s negative thought into a more healing & positive frame of mind.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I am a Certified Clinical Telemental Health Provider and have been professionally trained in CBT via The Beck Institute and The Gottman Method of Couples Therapy. I offer telehealth sessions for anyone residing in the state of California, and specialize in working with clients struggling with depression, anxiety, alcoholism/addictions, parents of neurodivergent children, ADHD, and/or other special needs. An all-online practice means that all of our sessions will take place live through a secure video platform. All you need is your computer, tablet, or phone and an internet connection. This means that your counseling process is more flexible-we can work together while you’re in the comfort of your own home, office, or other safe space. Using telehealth for counseling also allows you to take some time after our sessions to process the work we have done together in the comfort of your own safe space.
