When we get "stuck" in life, we can begin to feel lost & confused. My job is to help you figure out what is making you feel "stuck," & collaboratively help you to make the necessary adjustments in your life to get "unstuck." Together, we will walk the path toward your new future. My approach is client-centered & collaborative. I utilize various treatment modalities in my practice, such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy & Dialectical Behavior Therapy.
Cambridge Dictionary defines “reframe” as, a way “to change the way something is expressed or considered.” Simply speaking, a reframe is a different way to look at a situation. The goal of CBT, & my work with my clients, is to challenge oneself to identify negative core beliefs, or negative thought patterns, & begin to learn tools & coping skills in order to look at them in a new, more positive light. My practice name, Reframe Counseling, describes the process of reworking one’s negative thought into a more healing & positive frame of mind.
