About My Clients
Every person has the talent, skills and abilities to achieve all that they set out to accomplish. Sometimes, our past, trauma, family, society, etc. has stolen our ability to see those strengths, so I specialize in bringing those to light. I have spent most of my career supporting young adults through the transitions of life. I also have spent time supporting families through pet loss and end of life care.
My Background and Approach
Clients consider me as a holistic therapist as I focus on your mental, physical, spiritual and emotional well-being. I go beyond “talk therapy” and use integrated methods in my practice (e.g. somatic, mindfulness based and multi-sensory). I strive to co-create a non-judgmental and compassionate space for healing.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
Wellness and health aren't unachievable- sometimes we have been taught to believe that what we are going through is just part of life. I don't believe that there is a limit to what we can all achieve- and I desire to help others remove what ever limiting beliefs or patterns that have been presenting in their lives. I believe that everyone deserves access to quality mental health care and education- so I tend to keep my rates below market price- as I am a self-pay therapist and do not accept insurance. I too have been in your seat- searching for a therapist and have had many “first” appointments. I believe in the power of finding a perfect fit in therapy. I offer a free 15 minute consultation and if you feel that we may not be a good fit, I am happy to support you in finding a therapist that may suit your needs better.
