As an artist, I appreciate working creatively and in the moment. Using interventions based in narrative therapy, I may invite you to notice how your emotions show up for you and what they might be communicating, which can be both somatic and symbolic.
Therapy can be incredibly vulnerable, especially when working somatically or with trauma, and I will regularly check-in with you for feedback about our pace, our dynamic, and your needs. I prefer a strength-based, client-centered approach, meaning I will work alongside you to sift through your experiences, notice how they’ve shaped you, and collaborate on finding new ways forward.
