About My Clients
Feeling safe and supported is important to me. When meeting with me I will ensure you feel safe and validated. I believe that individuals can heal and prosper and I am grateful to be a part of that process. I practice from a person-centered approach. I feel that meeting individuals where they are at is important to build a therapeutic relationship. I take a trauma-informed approach and believe that our experiences have shaped us into who we are today.
My Background and Approach
My practice focuses on working with children, teens, adults, couples and families, using an eclectic therapeutic approach. I have extensive training in EMDR, dissociation, intergenerational trauma, and years of experience working with BIPOC and in crisis management, the hospital setting, and in community-based mental health and wellness centers. I received my M.S. in Clinical Mental Health Counseling and B.A. in Psychology/Sociology from St. Bonaventure University.
