About My Clients
Life is tough sometimes and we can all use support at one point or another. I use a person-centered approach to provide my clients with tangible skills and strategies to help with anxiety, depression, phase of life struggles, relationships and improvement in their overall well-being. I work best with youth, adolescents, young adults and women of all ages to find ways to be happier and function more adequately in life.
My Background and Approach
I am dedicated to helping my clients discover insights, increase awareness and create a happier, healthier version of themselves. I join side by side with my clients, and walk with them through their journey of growth and change. I am trained in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and Dialectical Behavioral Therapy and use these modalities to give clients the skills they need to handle the ups and downs of life. I value creating a warm, nonjudgemental environment where my clients feel safe enough to step just outside their comfort zones for growth.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I believe that everyone is doing the best they can in life and yet we can all work towards change to find how to do things differently when needed. Personal growth comes from the desire to change what is no longer working for us in our lives. We can replace unhealthy thoughts and behaviors with healthy ones and practice a new habit of mind. When things change inside you, things change around you. Through this process we can learn how to lead lives that are personally fulfilling while at the same time contributing to the greater good for all people. It is my passion to find ways to help people live well, achieve personal growth and make the world a better place.
