About My Clients
I meet my clients where they are at - taking into consideration their unique history and circumstances. I have a special interest in women's issues, supporting LGBTQIA individuals and neurodiversity. I am progressive and here to offer a safe space of support. I especially enjoy working with people around times of transition, anxiety, stress,/burnout, perinatal mood, parenting, perfectionism, breakups/divorce, complex trauma, and imposter syndrome.
My Approach to Helping
I offer a variety of therapeutic modalities (EMDR, ACT, CBT, DBT) and have an eclectic approach. I believe that the therapeutic relationship is foundational to positive outcomes and my wish is for my clients to feel safe, valued, and to be open to having a good laugh in session from time to time. I see you as a whole person, with a rich history that has provided you with unique gifts. My goal as a therapist is to help people embrace the imperfections that make them beautiful, learning to radically accept what cannot be changed, and also recognizing where we have the ability to improve our lives. Together we will develop strategies to help you have the life that you want.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I am a proud Progressive and supporter of the Black Lives Matter movement, LGBTQIA equality, intersectional feminism, and Health At Every Size. I am sex-positive, body-positive, and fed up with the patriarchy. I love spending time in nature and adventuring whether camping, hiking or swimming in the ocean. I also enjoy thrifting vintage home decor, reading and traveling.
