About My Clients
Do you often feel not good enough, like you don't measure up, always in a rut, and struggle to fight those negative thoughts? Perhaps you are experiencing lots of life changes / transitions and you haven't had time to process it all. My desire is to facilitate hope and healing to each of my clients as they navigate through common life stressors so that you can live an abundant life full of freedom and wholeness.
My Background and Approach
My therapeutic approaches are strengths-based and collaborative with integration of cognitive behavioral therapy. I believe the thoughts that we think influence the way we feel which influences our actions. If we can identify our negative thought patterns, we can change our unhealthy habits because thoughts drive our actions, or lack thereof. I strive to create a safe, welcoming environment by providing a kind, empathic, non-judgmental space for you to share your story. I use a more holistic approach towards counseling by addressing the needs of body, mind, and spirit. When we are connected with ourself first, we are more likely to connect better with others. My goal is to help you do both. I am continually humbled that I get to be a part of such a transformative time in individuals’ lives through the therapeutic process!
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I believe that God has given you everything you need to live a successful, abundant, hope-filled life. It is just up to us to uncover that, and sometimes we need a little help from others (through the means of therapy) to come alongside us and to call it out of us. I hope that after you leave every session with me you feel more empowered and confident in the purpose that God has designed specifically for you. No matter how much we go through, there is always hope waiting for us on the other side. We just have to have eyes to look for it. I hope you leave every session feeling heard, seen, validated, and a little bit more known than when you last walked in.
