Equine-assisted psychotherapy is an experiential therapy shown to help with a variety of concerns including anxiety and mood disorders, interpersonal relationships, trauma, low self esteem, behavioral issues, and more.
My Background and Approach
In therapy, we will have the importunity to apply concepts in the moment, in your relationship with the horses. Equine-assisted psychotherapy is a flexible and individualized approach that allows you to address your concerns and work toward achieving your personal goals. It incorporates a variety of other models and frameworks including cognitive behavioral therapy, solution-focused therapy, and somatic (body) therapies.
