About My Clients
My clients are seeking to make a positive change in their life. I work with children, teens, adolescents, and adults who are grappling with profound feelings and behaviors such as depression, anxiety, OCD, or oppositional defiant issues (ODD). These clients are not only looking for a safe space to navigate their emotions and life's challenges but also are seeking to embrace personal growth and change.
My Background and Approach
My background involves my work with children, adolescents, and adults (civilian and military) in inpatient psychiatric settings, as well as in medical environments such as Intensive Care Units, Emergency Departments, and Psychiatric Units within a medical hospital. Here I focused on working through the client's mental health challenges such as Depression, Suicidality, Anxiety, Impulse control, OCD, Psychosis, and Substance use disorders. Concerning my preferred methodology, I frequently use a combination of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and Motivational Interviewing techniques in my practice. I enjoy offering clients a safe space to explore their thoughts, emotions, and experiences while also providing them with practical skills and strategies for use in their daily lives and the community.
