Hello, over the last 10 years I've enjoyed working together with people as they took on the problems they faced. I've helped people work on range of problems, from challenging behaviors to other internal problem. I've worked with incredible resilient young people and adults who've had relationships with trauma, anxiety, and depression. I've also worked with young people in foster care and members of the LGBTQ community using a narrative approach.

Working with individuals who have had encounters with the foster care system is definitely close to my heart. I've worked in Childrens shelters, foster homes, group homes, and as a county social worker in addition to being a former foster youth myself. I was always honored to hold space for youth and adults to share their stories and validate their stories. Narrative therapy was used to support support individuals on their path towards healing.

Through my work I've worked with numerous children in child welfare who've experienced traumatic experiences. I've also worked with adults at the Gender Health Center who've experienced traumatic experiences as well. I've held space for these survivors of traumatic experiences and was honored to be part of their journey. With the use of Narrative therapy, we worked together towards healing.

In my practice I've worked together with members of the LGBTQ community work through the challenges they had experiences with, using narrative therapy. I've also supported members of the transgender community with mental health assessments for gender affirming surgical procedures.
