About My Clients
Everyone has problems from time to time in their life, so where do you begin? Well, if what you have been doing is no longer working, it might be time for a change. That's where I come in! I have over 10 years of experience and primarily work with adults and teens over age 16. Typical clients of mine want to heal from childhood trauma or other traumas, have difficulty managing anxiety or emotionally regulating, or are trying to set boundaries in difficult relationships.
My Background and Approach
I am a Certified Clinical Trauma Professional. My approach is holistic and I strive to meet my clients where they are at in their journey. I utilize many evidenced based approaches including EMDR, Cognitive Processing Therapy, CBT, DBT and ACT. I strongly believe in the mind-body connection, so I incorporate both psychological and body-based interventions.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
Starting counseling can be both scary and overwhelming and I realize that change can be difficult. The single best predictor of outcome is the relationship between client and therapist.
