About My Clients
My clients are those who are struggling and want to learn or improve their skills to continue to move forward with their lives. A desire to enlarge one's perspective and move towards one's goals is life-giving to oneself and those whom we are in relationship with. Growth is difficult and my clients are those who possess a hope that they and their situation can change to better manage their lives and flourish. Challenges such as depression, anxiety, grief, and insecurity are workable issues.
My Background and Approach
My background is rooted in approaching others with respect and openness. I have experience dealing with spiritual and psychological difficulties that can keep others from experiencing a more full and satisfying life. I believe we are all created and meant to be here. That we are all capable of giving and receiving love. That relationships are vital for a fulfilling life and that we all struggle at different times in learning how to process the constantly changing environment we find ourselves.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I have worked in clinical settings, faith communities, and private practice settings. I am an active supporter of the LGBTQ+ community. I am deeply committed in the ongoing efforts of many in making the 14th Amendment a reality in our communities. I have experience with those who have experienced incarceration and are reentering their lives anew. I have worked extensively with those dealing with issues of grief and loss. In all, it's about greater self-acceptance and acceptance of others.
