I work with individuals experiencing anxiety to help them better understand and recognize what is triggering their feelings of anxiety as well as help them learn coping skills to manage those feelings. I struggled with my own anxiety for a number of years before really understanding and learning how to manage it.

Pregnancy and Postpartum can bring on a whole new set of emotions and feelings that women are unprepared for. Postpartum depression and anxiety are very common yet still feel very lonely and shameful to talk about. You are not alone if you are experiencing these feelings while pregnant or after having your baby! I struggled with my own anxiety throughout pregnancy and had fairly severe Postpartum anxiety. Talking about your feelings does help and there are coping skills to help manage as well!

Infertility brings along a set of feelings that are impossible to understand unless you have been through them yourself. I struggled with unexplained infertility for over 8 years before finally having my son on my third round of IVF. I understand the unique feelings that infertility can bring as well as the challenges and stress that fertility treatments add to your life. I became a therapist to help other women struggling with infertility and it’s my goal to help as many women as possible.

Mindfulness-based therapy is effective For a wide range of issues and works for many different individuals. Being aware and mindful of your own thoughts, feelings and triggers is the first step in addressing the things you would like to work on. There are many components that make up mindfulness-based therapy and I work with each individual client to customize therapy to their own individual needs.
