Feelings of anxiety, depression, and grief can often be a heavy weight we are carrying around. Finding relief can sometimes feel like an impossible task, however gaining more insight and awareness around your feelings as well as talking about them, can help make that weight a little lighter. By learning more about you, the stressors or traumas you have experienced throughout your life or the potential unknown patterns you may be engaging in can help move you forward and flourish again!
My Background and Approach
I take a collaborative approach to therapy, however believe that you are the leader and expert in your life and my role is to provide a listening and compassionate ear as well as notice patterns of behavior or responses that you may not have seen yet. I am typically drawn to working from person-centered and cognitive behavior approaches in therapy, however often implement attachment theory as well as mindfulness and strength-based approaches.
