I have worked with many clients experiencing life transitions, including marriage, divorce, becoming a parent, starting a new school/job, and losing a loved one, among others. I particularly enjoy being able to help my clients navigate all of the environmental and emotional changes that occur during these transitions in a healthy and successful manner.

Because I have expertise in marriage and family issues, I am extremely passionate about helping relationships of all kinds improve. I focus on communication issues such as learning how to not make assumptions as well as how to speak to one another in preferred love languages.

Anxiety is one of the most prevalent issues in the mental health world today. When I am working with a client with anxiety, I emphasize becoming aware of triggers and forming an action plan to navigate these triggers in a way that reduces feelings of anxiety.

Using an eclectic and evidence-based approach, my goal when working with individuals of any age and at varying points in life, is to provide the emotional support and tools necessary for you to be confident in your ability to achieve your goals on your own.

When working with couples, regardless of what stage the relationship is in, I emphasize honesty, open communication, and the elimination of assumptions in order to encourage healing and understanding within each partner.

Taking a strengths-based approach with families, I stress the importance of validation and appreciation in order to help resolve conflicts and improve relationships between family members.
