About My Clients
I am honored to work collaboratively with clients who are experiencing sobriety, those emerging through trauma, coping with loss, stress, anxiety, depression or other severe mental issues. I support those who are in a space where they are not accepted or understood by their families and/or community because of preferred gender or orientation. My clients range in age from 6 to early 80s. In sessions we work collaboratively towards goals in a safe haven to facilitate change.
My Background and Approach
I approach therapy from a Family Systems model, which looks at the client’s experience within their family of origin and strives to promote growth through healing of the self in context of relationships. It is my intent that I facilitate the growth and development of you and your family (if any) to the very best of my ability. Therapy is a joint effort between therapist and client, where we work together to resolve the issues that brought you to therapy in the first place.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I believe in addressing the overall wellness of every client to create balance. Change does not occur overnight. With patience, awareness, learning and the use of new skills and hard work we can make changes.
