About My Clients
When life presents hardships and challenges, even the most resilient individuals can experience stress, loneliness, despair, insecurity and can lose a sense of direction. Healing Humanity Counseling and Wellness creates a safe, supportive, non judgmental space in which acceptance, healing, and self love is cultivated. I have worked with clients with a wide range of concerns including mood disorders, anxiety, addiction, relationship issues, trauma and abuse, impulsivity, and stress management.
My Background and Approach
I am a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor.I have experience across a variety of settings. I have worked with many diverse populations with specific needs ranging from mild acuity to the severe and persistent mentally ill. My preferred theoretical modalities include cognitive-behavioral, humanistic, motivational Interviewing, positive psychology and solution focused counseling.I am committed to empowering my clients and providing the tools, techniques and knowledge needed to live healthier lives and to perform optimally each day. I have an understanding that everyone’s journey to healing is unique. I exhibit patience and believe strongly in treating everyone with respect, sensitivity, dignity, and compassion.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I Believe that everyone has the ability to ascend and evolve at any time in their lives. Along this journey of life, we often find ourselves faced with challenges, obtacles, and setbacks. In the midst of our journey, we often acquire unhealthy learned behaviors and unhealthy mindsets. I believe that these unhealthy patterns can ne unlearned and replaced with healthy ones. I am a strong believer of self love, self care, and empowerment. I promote individualism, self expression, and self compassion. Everyday we are challenged. Everyday we can overcome. I am here to promote wellness in every aspect of life. I look forward to working with you.
