About My Clients
My clients tend to come to therapy feeling stuck, anxious, alone, in pain, and have the sense that something is missing. Many of my clients have childhood experiences of neglect or abuse, difficult attachment experiences, sexual trauma, and other histories that continue to affect their present. I enjoy working with folks across the spectrums of sexuality of gender identity, and offer a LGBTQ+-affirmative and sex positive lens.
My Background and Approach
I have a Masters in Clinical Psychology from Antioch University LA where I specialized in Spiritual and Depth Psychology. My bachelor's degree is in Applied Psychology from New York University. The majority of my clinical training has been psychodynamic, depth, and attachment-oriented. I am also EMDR trained, a modality that helps detangle, process, and release trauma that is stored in the body and mind. Together we will collaborate to create a safe, compassionate space where all parts of you can be explored without judgement. Your therapy experience will be unique to you and your needs, and I will work hard to make sure you feel seen and understood. We will explore the past, identify and transform old patterns, and develop a present that supports deeper connection to self and others. We will even find moments of humor and joy. I believe we all have the innate ability to heal -- I am honored to join you on your path.
