About My Clients

I tend to work best with clients who: want to work towards being flexible and understanding what pushes them into rigidity, open to being challenged, open to or interested in going deeper, is or wants to be curious, appreciates humor in your healing work, likes an anti-capitalist, anti-racist, transformative justice framework, looking to collaborate on your journey, is seeking empathetic and intuitive therapy.

My Background and Approach

You are the best expert in how you experience the world and I am committed to learning. I welcome all identities, backgrounds, and relationship configurations. I believe in continuously learning and integrating anti-racist practices, cultural humility and curiosity, transformative justice, disability justice, and “health at every size” philosophy. My work is distinguished by my passion about identity, sexuality and relational work as well as grief, trauma and Self work in many forms (worth, esteem, compassion, growth, loving, healing, etc.) I am systemically trained and understand that our context matters in the shaping of our problems and paths to healing. I have an eclectic approach that relies heavily on attachment theory. I pull interventions from experiential therapies, internal family systems, body-centered somatic practices, mindfulness, sex therapy, and motivational interviewing.

My Personal Beliefs and Interests

I am a queer, nonbinary trans person. I have a deep passion for thinking about our bodies and the relationship of our bodies to larger oppressive systems and how they disconnect us. As a white person this includes striving to deconstruct how I enact white supremacist culture within myself and my communities. I am a big nerd for learning about transformative justice practices, flattening hierarchies in various spaces, how our bodies carry the trauma of living in a capitalist system, and ultimately how I find myself in the larger ecosystem of working towards liberation for all.

I offer online counseling in the following states:
I have experience with the following

  • Atheism
