About My Clients

My clients are curious and committed to their process, and long to trust themselves. They are ready to deconstruct familiar cycles around anxiety, self-doubt, shame, over-functioning, and intergenerational patterns but don't know the how...yet. If you're curious about the 'why' behind the patterns in your life, tired of talking surface-level symptoms, and want to get at the root: I'd love to meet you, and hear your story.

My Background and Approach

When you think about starting therapy what stereotypes or expectations come to mind? For me, therapy is not another self-improvement hack or one size fits all, but instead an invitation to explore, get curious and build self-trust. A space where all of ourself belongs. Often we are pointed to symptoms and quick-fixes while neglecting the root: therapy is root work. I work with clients primarily from an Internal Family Systems, attachment, and contemplative (not to mention 100% human) approach. In my experience the process of embracing and navigating our stories is not simple, but like most things we want to avoid, is profoundly valuable within safe spaces that are the right fit and right timing for our lives. Please visit my website to explore my approach and areas of speciality to see if we might be a good fit!

My Personal Beliefs and Interests

I don't believe or work from the model that therapists hold the answers for clients. I believe that not only are you are the expert on your own life, but that you can deeply trust yourself (and yes, we'll explore what blocked that belief previously!). Therapy can have all sorts of stigma around it--I believe in creating a space that's not only safe, but also human as we process the ins-and-outs of life as it is. My role in the process serves to facilitate a safe, honest space for you to lean into your questions in order for authentic change and transformation to occur. I deeply value intersectionality in the therapy experience: your experiences of gender, trauma, sexuality, race, spirituality and culture matter and are a part of your lived experience. I work from an intersectional approach that honors the fullness of your lived, embodied experience. All of you, is welcome.
