About My Clients

My Background and Approach
I work with adults and teens experiencing the impacts of anxiety, depression, or trauma. I help folks gain insight into the roots of their pain and use this awareness to implement skills to take better care of themselves in the present. Together, we can help you better understand and attend to your emotional experiences so you can lead a fuller life. I work from a trauma informed, LGBTQ+ affirming, and culturally responsive perspective. I am here to sit with you, unpack what you’re carrying at your pace, and support you in making your own choices about what will be most life-giving for you on your healing journey.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I believe that humans have a profound ability for healing when we are in a space where we feel seen and accepted for all of who we are. In this space, all parts of your identity will be affirmed and honored. An important part of my work is recognizing the harms of systems of oppression in our society and centering the experiences of those who experience marginalization. I believe strongly in increasing access to culturally-affirming, anti-oppressive mental healthcare for all. In an effort to make mental health services more accessible, I do have sliding scale (reduced fee) spots in my practice so please ask me about this if it is something you need.
