About My Clients
I like to approach my work from a strengths’ based, person-in-environment, trauma-informed, and culturally competent approach- always recognizing that similar interactions with the environment often result in different outcomes for different people. Getting to understand each person’s story and supporting them by utilizing effective methods to help them develop and take action towards meaningful goals to reach their full potential is my aim in therapy.
My Background and Approach
I received my Master’s Degree in Social Work from California State University, East Bay where I received a significant amount of clinical training in the treatment of depression, anxiety, ADHD, and substance use disorders for ages ranging from adolescent to middle-aged adults. I have utilized CBT, DBT, family systems, narrative therapy, and mindfulness meditation as methods for helping individuals, families, and couples.
