About My Clients
Do you ever hear a voice in your head telling you you're not good enough? It makes everything you do just a little bit harder. If you notice it, you might start judging yourself for judging yourself! What do you do? I offer compassion, acceptance and peace. My style of therapy is flexible and gentle. I work well with highly sensitive people with anxiety and depression. Therapy here is a place to look inward and forward, knowing that no matter what you find I will be right there with you.
My Background and Approach
I am part of a group practice called Bay Area Mental Health. I specialize in treating anxiety, depression, bipolar, and PTSD and trauma. My experience with existential therapy has taught me how to help people make decisions and find purpose. My experience with mindfulness has taught me that slowing down to breathe can be the quickest way to move forward. My experience with counseling LGBTQ clients has taught me that the world is a richer place when we're allowed to be who we are. My experience with Brainspotting has taught me that our bodies have their own wisdom that helps us heal from trauma. My experience with life says that sometimes you have to throw all your plans out the window and be with what is.
