About My Clients
I serve athletes, their families, and affiliated personnel (I.e., coaches, athletic trainers, etc.) to navigate mental health and performance. I believe athletes are people first and serve those struggling with PTSD/Sport PTSD, trauma, anxiety and depression, and relationship challenges. Sometimes we get stuck and find ourselves not performing to the best of our abilities. Together we can work from a mental performance standpoint to move beyond "stuck" and into excellence.
My Background and Approach
I specialize in Brainspotting, Trauma/PTSD/Sport PTSD, anxiety and depression. I am currently working towards Certified Mental Performance Consultant (CMPC) certification and offer mental performance coaching.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
My top two personal values are courage and integrity. It takes courage to reach out for help, which is honored at Speakstone Counseling & Consulting. I promise to serve clients with the utmost integrity, keeping privacy and meeting clients where they're at with whatever they're walking in with. I believe each individual has the capacity to grow and heal, but sometimes things such as trauma, anxiety, or depression can hinder our growth and keep us "stuck". As a previous coach, personal trainer, and athlete, I experience(d) challenges athletes face both on and off the playing field. My practice is centered around helping athletes their families, and support personnel navigate mental health and performance issues. I have a diverse background in athletics and performance and currently practice Jiu Jitsu. Jiu-jitsu has allowed me to push myself outside my comfort zone and stretch my mental performance.
