Through integrative methods, I provide a combination of talk therapy and creativity through art making to engage the mind, body, and spirit in ways that foster visual and symbolic expression and gives voice to a your unique experience. Art making in a therapeutic environment empowers transformation and helps build self-esteem and self-acceptance.

I provide Healing-Centered Trauma Informed Care. I use a combination of talk therapy and art therapy as a treatment framework to understanding, recognizing, and responding to the effects of all types of trauma. I use Healing-Centered Trauma Informed Care to emphasize physical, psychological and emotional safety for both therapist and client, and to help survivors rebuild a sense of control and empowerment.

I provide art therapy and integrative approaches to help you with the process of personal development and growth. Through my expertise I assist and guide you towards healing and the desire to change and embrace your full potential. I provide an avenue to work through difficulties in life and awaken to your most resourced self.

I have been practicing in the field of Art Therapy for 12 years and use it as a modality that combines psychotherapy with the healing and transformative aspects of art and the creative process. I additionally teach at Adler Graduate School in the Art Therapy department. Through my experience as an art therapist I aims to help with personal growth and development. The practice of art therapy requires extensive, specialized education, training and experience.

I am trained as an EMDR therapist. Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) therapy is an integrative psychotherapy approach that has been extensively researched and proven effective for the treatment of trauma. EMDR is a set of standardized protocols that incorporates elements from different treatment approaches.

I have specialized training Healing-Centered Trauma Informed care. I have been trained and certified in AIR (Adaptive Internal Relational) Network therapy. Healing-centered care is a treatment framework that involves understanding, recognizing, and responding to the effects of all types of trauma. Healing-Centered Trauma Informed Care also emphasizes physical, psychological and emotional safety for both therapist and client, and helps survivors rebuild a sense of control and empowerment.

I provide treatment for anxiety and depression through the unique combination of talk-therapy and using the creative process of art making. Art making reduces stress and is a pleasurable activity and I can help guide you towards health and well-being. According to a 2016 study published in the Journal of the American Art Therapy Association, less than an hour of creative activity can reduce your stress and have a positive effect on your mental health.
