About My Clients
Are you experiencing unwanted stress or difficulty processing anxiety? Are you finding yourself stuck in intrusive thought patterns and constant worry? Do you ever feel like stranger in your own body? If you are feeling trapped by symptoms of trauma or anxiety, you are not alone. Let's sort it out together. With a Trauma Informed and Relational Approach you will find relief and (re)experience your joy again.
My Background and Approach
Utilizing the fundamentals of neuroscience, we will go beyond traditional talk therapy to discover and heal the root sources of your symptoms. You will learn the tools for emotional regulation and resilience, which will help you reclaim control over your mind, body, and emotions once again. I utilize a variety of techniques focusing on mind-body connection including Brainspotting, Somatic Experiencing, HeartMath, Breathwork, , and Trauma Sensitive Yoga to help individuals find relief at neurophysiological level. With expertise in Attachment, I specialize in relationships, shame, and developmental trauma.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
As human beings, we each deeply desire and deserve a sense of belonging - that is to be loved, to be understood, and to be accepted. I believe that connection and relationship are at the core of all healing. I was trained with a Social Systems lens, so in both my practice and personal life I believe it is important for us to look at each facet of our identities (gender, sex, religion, race, culture, class, etc) and how these identities interact with our shame, trauma, and sense of belonging.
