About My Clients
I work with a diverse population of adult clients presenting with substance abuse issues, anxiety, depression, grief, relationship issues, trauma, and LGBTQ+ related issues.
My Background and Approach
I graduated from Loyola University New Orleans in 2017. Since graduating, I have focused on working with adults struggling with substance abuse in both inpatient and outpatient settings. In private practice, I have continued to work with adults presenting with substance abuse disorders, anxiety, depression, grief, relationship issues, trauma as well as LGBTQ+ related issues. I utilize an eclectic approach with clients. What this means is that I utilize a person centered approach giving you the freedom to discuss what is coming up for you that day. I also integrate a family systems approach meaning that I help you identify patterns in your family of origin that are still impacting your relationships today. Lastly, I utilize an existential approach to help you identify what is most important and meaningful to you. Depending on the client and the issues we are working on I also incorporate CBT, DBT, mindfulness, solution-focused, and REBT when appropriate.
