My client population is varied, children, adolescents, and adults. I have experience working with all ages and diverse populations including service members, individuals in palliative care, and those requiring acute psychiatric treatment. My areas of expertise deal with depression, anxiety, and life transitions. I value the importance of cultural competence and creating a safe therapeutic environment for all clients.
My Background and Approach
My work experience has been largely centered around medical settings. I understand how acute and chronic illnesses can impact daily lives. As a result, I utilize an eclectic person- centered approach, primarily utilizing cognitive behavioral and solution-focused interventions.
