IFS is a heart-centered, non-pathologizing, and gentle approach to exploring the burdens and traumas of our inner world by changing the question from "what's wrong with you" to "what happened to you." We each have parts of ourselves that sometimes disagree, pull us in opposite directions, and sabotage our goals. We'll compassionately work with each part to resolve inner conflicts, release past hurts, and reorganize the inner system to achieve lasting healing for ourselves and our relationships.

Loss is devastating. I welcome all grief, whether it's been days, months, or years since your loss, whether your loss is related to fertility challenges, loss of a child at twelve-weeks development or twelve-months, loss of a wanted baby or loss during an unwanted pregnancy. I will walk beside you as your grief unfolds and offer a loving space to explore your thoughts and feelings as you face life after loss. Together, at your own pace, we will explore ways to find meaning, hope, and healing.

It's normal and common to have complicated feelings during this time. The transition to parenthood includes many changes that can literally happen overnight. It's common to feel happy about baby and grieve the life you had before. It's normal to feel grief for the birth you wanted but did not get to have. Many people experience depression and anxiety following birth. We can think that becoming a parent should be easy. For many people, it is not. The more support we have, the more we will thrive.
