My Background and Approach
My approach to therapy is person-centered & based on integrating mind, body, & spirit. I specialize in taking talk therapy deeper through mindfulness, body awareness, and inner journeys. Our sessions may include: · Strengths & values (positive psychology) · Mindfulness & mindset work (mindfulness based cognitive therapy) · Action-taking, coping skills (solution focused) · Expressive & body-based therapies (expressive arts therapy, dance/movement therapy) · Inner child work, the unconscious (psychodynamic therapy) · Your spirituality, if applicable (i.e.: Soul/Higher Self, metaphysical, etc.)
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I am as comfortable working on solutions & coping skills as I am voyaging deep into the unconscious. It all depends on your preferences & needs. I help break down confusion and overwhelm, making sense where you see none. I see and hold a vision of your authentic self, until you are able to do so for yourself.
