I have worked with many individuals and couples during their family planning, pregnancy, miscarriage, fertility journey, and postpartum. Each phase has its own challenges. I support each client on their journey to help them uncover what they are experiencing, any messages that are getting in the way, and ultimately coming to terms with their experience.
Anxiety can be all consuming and frustrating. I work with clients to acknowledge their anxiety and articulate its parts and the experience. Together, we collaborate to find cognitive behavioral strategies that can ease the anxiety. I also utilize a holistic approach, encouraging self care, such as meditation and good nutrition.
There are many times in life when we are adjusting to something and need support. Adjustments that are positive in our lives can also bring up stress- such as getting married or getting a promotion.I have worked with individuals for 20 years as they adjust to the good and bad in life, offering support, strategies, and resources.

I utilize a practical approach, utilizing strategies for couples to spend time together, validate each other, respect differences and maintain a close relationship.
CBT is an approach to therapy where we look at the thoughts, feelings and behaviors. Often, we will have thoughts that are unhelpful, leading to difficult feelings and unproductive behaviors. When clients can unpack each of these, they can slow down the process, and work towards more peaceful interactions in life. Eventually, clients can unpack these for themselves, catch themselves, and work towards more helpful thoughts, feelings and behaviors.
