About My Clients
Many people struggle with daily fear, past hurt, sadness and loneliness. I work with clients who struggle with anxiety, depression, anger, and trauma issues. I believe in my clients resilience and ability to self determine what works for them. Every client has their own strengths and needs, which I help them to identify and work to address to help them feel empowered.
My Background and Approach
I am a licensed clinical social worker, trained in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, Sand Tray, CBT and EMDR. I believe in the resilience of the human spirit, and that working on the heart and past helps us create a positive future. I work with clients to learn new skills to aid in distress tolerance, coping skills, thought skills and self esteem. I look forward to helping my clients grow individually, as well as in their personal and working or school relationships. Clients feel empowered when able to selectively guide their own treatment.
