Just like any new relatonship, finding a therapist you like sometimes can be frustrating. However, I do my best to make therapy as enjoyable and painless as possible using a casual style and humor to lighten the mood when appropriate. If you're new to therapy: Congratulations! You are making the best choice for your mental health. And if you are returning, I will be happy to help you deepen your self-awareness and take more control over your emotional well being.
My Background and Approach
Lasting change happens within the context of a secure relationship with your therapist. Regardless of your attachment style, I can help you create a sense of emotional safety where you can grow and reach your full potential. I use a trauma-informed and mindfulness approach to personal growth, and have tools such as EMDR (Eye Movement Desentisization and Re-programming) and EFT (Emotional Freedom Technique) available to help deepen your process if desired. I also study and practice yoga asana and philosophy and integrate it into my work as appropriate.

Black Lives Matters; Free Palestine; Love is Love; No Human is Illegal; the Personal in Political. As a secular queer Jewish white woman with many privileges, I strive to be an ally for people of all races, class backgrounds, abilities, genders and sexual orientations.
