About My Clients
Experiencing challenges with your family, spouse/partner? Internal struggles, or parenting issues? Is there an elephant in the room? I work with individuals, couples, families, and adolescents from diverse backgrounds who are experiencing family conflict, marriage difficulties, women's issues, existential issues, depression, anxiety, body image concerns, adolescent concerns, and eating disorders. I value creating a safe place for you to be heard and to work towards resolution and healing.
My Background and Approach
I view each of my clients through a humanistic lens, choosing to believe that each person is unique, valuable, and has the ability to reach his/ her /their fullest potential as well as the ability to create healthy relationships. I am trained to treat families and relationships with a family systems perspective, relying on the understanding that we are each a part of a greater whole. Narrative therapy, solution-focused, cognitive behavioral therapy, and person-centered therapy may also be used. Collaborating with my clients will always be my goal -helping to manifest growth by empowering individuals to cultivate the vision that they have for themselves and for their families. My professional experience includes working with clients seeking treatment for a variety of issues including marriage issues, family conflict, parenting issues, depression, anxiety, and eating disorders at any stage of life. In addition to this, I specialize in Family Based Treatment (FBT) for eating disorders.
