About My Clients
I have been specially trained in EMDR, substance abuse addiction, sex addiction, trauma, issues around divorce and parental alienation/estrangement. Integrating EMDR techniques into psychotherapy is a powerful way that I am able to help my client’s achieve lasting, positive change. In my couples work, I support partners to break old patterns, be vulnerable and lean in to recognize one another’s unmet needs.
My Background and Approach
Quality therapy can be a life changing, transformational experience. Finding a professional you trust, who is self-aware and invested in you is key. In our first session, we will agree on key areas where therapy could be of greatest benefit and you can gauge whether there is a positive connection and strong confidence in my role as your therapist.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I provide LGBT affirmative therapy for individuals, couples and families. Genuine regard, attentiveness and nonjudgment are the tenets of my practice and contribute to the lasting, positive change that my clients experience long after our work together. I am a member of the LAGPA (Lesbian & Gay Psychotherapy Association of Los Angeles) and California Association of Marriage and Family Therapists (CAMFT).
