About My Clients
My telehealth practice is focused on servicing folx from historically oppressed groups. Some common mental health struggles that I provide support with are low self-esteem, worries, negative self-talk or storytelling, difficulty with communicating needs or even trouble with "slowing down." I want to make it clear that mental health struggles are unique to each individual and I make sure we have open dialogue about how this may be true for you.
My Background and Approach
Working from a health psychology perspective, I look to you as a whole person and take all parts of your life into consideration. This includes an exploration of your mental, emotional, physical, and spiritual experiences to help identify ways to develop a healthier relationship with yourself and others. I also hold space for and invite conversations about how systemic and intergenerational cultural factors impact your struggles.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
As a queer Latinx psychologist, I take the time to create a safe space where you can discuss your life experiences with confidence and highlight your strengths without judgement. It is important to me that Mental Health Services be accessible to everyone and by providers that look and speak like everyday people. You deserve the opportunity to get support if you feel you need it despite what anyone else says or thinks about it. Reach out and connect with me for more information or to schedule your free 15-20 minute consultation.
