My Background and Approach
I earned my Master’s Degree in Mental Health Counseling from St. John Fisher College and I have several years experience working in partial hospitalization for eating disorders, outpatient mental health, and college settings. I've got specialized training in Infertility and Perinatal Mental Health including: Post-Partum Support International Certificate Program, Perinatal Mood Disorders: Components of Care Training, Advanced Perinatal Mental Health Psychotherapy Training , I'm a Professional Member of Post-Partum Support International, and a Professional Member of American Society for Reproductive Medicine. My approach is very supportive and validating. I utilize Cognitive Behavior Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) with a large emphasis on effective communication.
