About My Clients
Are you highly motivated to feel better, and to live the life that you want? Do you want to feel excited about making positive changes in your life? I applaud your bravery, and would love to work with you to make it happen! I know how it feels to have your feelings of stress, anxiety, or depression holding you back from the life you want to live. I truly believe that every person has value and am genuinely excited to work with clients with all sorts of goals.
My Background and Approach
I have years of experience providing therapy in a variety of settings. I have experience in traditional outpatient, intensive outpatient, community-based therapy as well as biofeedback and neurofeedback. I have personally experienced the value that nature provides in relief of anxiety, and incorporate meeting in nature into my therapeutic techniques, if my client would like! I am flexible in my treatment approach, as I realize that different people have different preferences. You are the boss!
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I am empathetic, authentic, and genuine. I truly believe that each person deserves to have a safe space to discuss their feelings and struggles, as well as their triumphs. I believe in equal treatment of all individuals. I am a lover of dogs (especially rescue dogs) and am frequently the first to ugly-cry at happy videos on the internet.
