I work with couples to cultivate honesty, authenticity, and methods of compassionate communication in their relationship. No two relationships look the same and no one approach will work for all couples, so this is a highly collaborative process of exploring what is effective and desired.
Family Systems is a defining cornerstone of how I approach work with my clients. Together, we examine how the external landscape has affected your internal landscape, as well as looking at intergenerational patterns that are passed on from caregivers to their children.
I incorporate elements of Psychodrama in my individual work and in the groups I facilitate. I am actively engaged in professional development and training in this area.
I am a member of the LGBTQ+ community and have completed numerous trainings on queer, trans and LGBTQ+ -relevant topics. I continue to remain engaged with the evolving landscape of identity as well as continuing to update my understanding through periodic trainings, conferences, and professional development groups.
I am an anti-oppression trainer of the "Beyond Inclusion, Beyond Empowerment" model created by Leticia Nieto, PsyD. I teach groups, provide trainings, and work with members of healing professions to embody and integrate these principles into their work.
