About My Clients
I work to cultivate a trusted space with my clients to navigate the emotional exploration of their experiences and relationships, while engaging in the work of creating new patterns, increasing self-compassion and building new skills for emotion regulation and interpersonal awareness.
My Background and Approach
My approach is compassionate and collaborative as I work to understand your experiences, trauma, identities, and what larger social and generational systems impact you. I hold an M.S. in Counseling from Portland State University with a specialty focus on systems, attachment and relationships. Additionally, I hold an M.Ed. from Loyola University in Maryland. In my work with individuals, I use elements of Internal Family Systems, skill development, attachment theory and interpersonal awareness techniques that become the framework of the work we do together. With relationships, monogamous and non-monogamous, I use a similar interpersonal approach to help my clients through relational exploration, conflict resolution and creating deeper connections. Throughout my work, I strive to offer trauma-informed, culturally responsive, community-centered therapy that is affirming of queer, trans, and neurodivergent populations. Offering telehealth appts anywhere in Oregon.
