About My Clients

My clients are individuals living with anxiety, depression, and other difficulties (individual, community, intergenerational, historical) and are seeking support, understanding, and new strategies for coping to move forward, heal, and thrive in a safe and compassionate space. Additionally, clients often seek me out because of my expertise at talking about sex, sexuality, sexual trauma and many of the other ways sex and sexuality impacts our lives.

My Background and Approach

My approach to this work is largely relational with a trauma-informed, feminist and anti-oppressive lens. As an individual and couples therapist, I am skilled at providing specialized care in the areas of sex therapy, couple/relationship therapy, and issues specific to the LGBTQQAI community, including those in non-traditional relationships. I utilize a sex-positive approach and have experience working with a wide range of sexual expression and orientations. I also bring many years of experience working with folx who identify as queer, trans, non-binary, and gender non-conforming. I engage in many pathways toward healing depending on individual needs. This may include experiential therapy that focuses on the body. Additionally, I am committed to a HAES (Health At Every Size) approach. It has been my experience that when we are able to connect our emotional experience with our bodily experience, we gain the ability to make meaningful and lasting change.

I offer online counseling in the following states:
