About My Clients

My clients are teens, young adults, gender expansive, and LGBTQ+ folx who are seeking support on their journey to wholehearted, authentically happy living. I approach therapy from a place of loving, non-judgmental acceptance. I meet you where you are, knowing that you are the expert of your own life. I am simply here to help you on your journey. I am ready to show-up in a real and authentic way, asking the same from you in order to build a working relationship of trust and respect.

My Background and Approach

I have extensive experience working with individuals struggling with ADHD, depression, anxiety, trauma, and transitions. My approach to therapy is holistic and eclectic, incorporating a mix of cognitive, behavioral, and somatic interventions. Specific techniques and modalities I utilize in my practice include: Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Motivational Interviewing (MI), Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), Mindfulness, and Trauma Resiliency Model. I also focus on supporting my clients in building a foundation for a life of holistic health and wellbeing through evaluation and development of solid habits and self-care routines.

My Personal Beliefs and Interests

We are the authors of our story. While we do not always have control of the beginning, we get to write our own ending. A lot of the time the beginning was messy, chaotic, and stressful. Or maybe it was simply lacking; not fitting quite right. This has caused us….issues, to put it mildly. So we take up the pen and take charge of our story, but we aren’t always good at writing. No one ever taught us how to be good authors and storytellers. That's where therapy comes in........Therapy should be a "safe space", which means as a therapist I want to be a "safe person" for you. But I'm not everyone's cup of tea (who is??)!! Who I am is...a spiritual (but not religious) lover/worshiper of Mother Earth (and cats), anti-rascist, pro human rights, pro body autonomy, pansexual, cisgender female who cusses like a sailor. If you think I might be your kind of people (for therapy of course), send me a message!
